Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revolution


Simos Bolivar was called El Libertador (born July 24 of 1783 in Caracas, captaincy general of Venezuela – died December 17 1830, in santa Martha Colombia) was a leader of several Independence movements throughout South America, collectively known as Bolivar`s War. In 1802, he married María Teresa Rodríguez del Toro after a year she died and he went back to Europe, he was the libertador of colombia and he partcipe in some wars in Spain and other parts of the world, he was an good writter, he wrote a few books about his conquisted and about his life, also he participed in the Battle of Boyaca. The country Bolivia is named after Simon Bolivar. After he kicked out the Spaniards in 1824 he made a part in upper Peru a separate state named Bolivia in his honor. Simon Bolivar was an important person in the world and now in the present he had a day to celebrated all he did in the past.
